The Timber Division is supplying sawn timber and industrial components made from local spruce and pine. Moelven Timber consists of production companies and sales offices.
Our customers
Our customers are mainly industrial companies that use our products as raw materials for their own production of e.g. construction timber, glulam, panels, flooring, mouldings, windows and packaging.
Sales force in many countries
Majority of our production is sold in Scandinavia, while the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Japan, North Africa and the Middle East constitute important export markets.
About 20 per cent of the total production is sold to other companies within the Moelven Group for further processing.

The timber that our sawmills use in the production comes primarily from the forests in the surrounding areas.
Moelven's factories are, with a few exceptions, located in central Sweden and south-east in Norway. The fiber is characterized by slow growth and strong quality.
